Trigeminal sinirin sol maksiller ve mandibular dallarını tutan, osteonekroz veya post herpetik nevraljinin eşlik ettiği iki Herpes zoster olgusu
Abstract
Amaç: Herpes zoster; gangliyonlarda
latent kalmış varisella zoster
virüsünün reaktivasyonu sonucunda ortaya çıkan viral bir hastalıktır. Bu
olgu sunumuyla, diş hekimliğinde nadiren karşılaşılan ve trigeminal siniri
tutan Herpes zoster enfeksiyonunda
komplikasyonların eşlik ettiği iki olgunun tedavi ve prognozlarının
değerlendirimesi amaçlanmıştır. Olgu:
İlk olguda, hemifasyal ağrılı, yüzün sol
bölgesinde vezikülleri bulunan bir kadın hasta kliniğimize başvurdu. Hastaya
oral antiviral tedavi başlandı ve lezyonları geriledi. Sonrasında post herpetik
nevralji gelişti ve ağrı kontrolü için pregabalin reçete edildi. İkinci olguda
ise sol maksiller molar bölgesinde bir ay süren yanma şikayeti ve hiperestezi
ile bir erkek hasta kliniğimize başvurdu. Muayene sırasında; hastada
vezikülobüllöz lezyonlar, alveoler kemikte osteonekroz ve sol maksiller birinci
molar dişte devitalizasyon olduğu saptandı. Her iki olguya Herpes zoster tanısı konuldu ve tedavi
edildi. Sonuç: Herpes zoster tedavi edilmediğinde, dişlerin devitalizasyonuna ve
eksfoliasyonuna, alveoler kemiğin osteonekrozuna ve post herpetik nevraljiye
yol açabilen komplikasyonlar göstermektedir.

MEU Journal of Health Sciences Assoc was began to the publishing process in 2008 under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Gönül Aslan, Editor-in-Chief, and affiliated to Mersin University Institute of Health Sciences. In March 2015, Prof. Dr. Caferi Tayyar Şaşmaz undertook the Editor-in Chief position and since then he has been in charge.
Publishing in three issues per year (April - August - December), it is a multisectoral refereed scientific journal. In addition to research articles, scientific articles such as reviews, case reports and letters to the editor are published in the journal. Our journal, which has been published via e-mail since its inception, has been published both online and in print. Following the Participation Agreement signed with TÜBİTAK-ULAKBİM Dergi Park in April 2015, it has started to accept and evaluate online publications.
