COVID-19 ilişkili multisistem inflamasyon olan çocuklarda kardiyak aritmi riski değerlendirmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Ciddi akut solunumsal sendrom koronavirüs tip-2 (SARS-CoV-2) asemptomatik klinik seyirden, ağır akut enfeksiyon (COVID-19) ve çocuklarda multisistem inflamatuvar sendroma (MIS-Ç) kadar giden ciddi semptomatik hastalıklara yol açabilir. Bu çalışma ile MIS-Ç tanısı almış hastalarda eşlik edebilecek kardiyak aritmi riskini hesaplamayı ve değerlendirmeyi amaçladık. Yöntem:1 Haziran 2020 – 20 Aralık 2021 tarihleri arasında, hastanemizde Mersin Üniversitesi Çocuk Kardiyoloji ve Çocuk Enfeksiyon bölümlerinde takip edilen, Covid-19 pandemisi döneminde, SARS-CoV-2 etkeni ilişkili MIS-C tanısı ile takip edilen, araştırmanın dahil edilme ve dışlanma kriterlerine uyan 29 olgunun dosyaları geriye dönük incelendi. Bu hastalar ayrıca hafif ve ağır MIS-C olarak iki gruba ayrıldılar.Sağlıklı kontrol ve hasta grupları arasındaki elektrokardiyografi (EKG) parametreleri (Tp-e intervali, Tp-e dispersiyonu ve Tp-e/QT oranı dahil olarak) birbiriyle karşılaştırıldı. Bulgular: QT intervali ve düzeltilmiş QT (QTc), TpTe intervali, TpTe dispersiyonu ve TpTe/QTc oranı hasta olan her iki MIS-C grubunda, sağlıklı kontrol grubuna göre belirgin yüksek bulunmuştur. Ağır MIS-C tanısı alan olgularda TpTe ve TpTe/QTc oranı değerleri, hafif MIS-Ç olanlara göre belirgin yüksek bulunmuştur. Özellikle ağır MIS-C tanısı olan olgularda aritmi riskinin arttığı görüldü. Sonuç: Bu sonuçlar COVID-19 ilişkili MIS-C hastalarında T dalga ve ventriküler repolarizasyon değişikliklerinin değerlendirilmesinin, aritmi riskini belirlemede önemli rol oynadığını göstermiştir.

MEU Journal of Health Sciences Assoc was began to the publishing process in 2008 under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Gönül Aslan, Editor-in-Chief, and affiliated to Mersin University Institute of Health Sciences. In March 2015, Prof. Dr. Caferi Tayyar Şaşmaz undertook the Editor-in Chief position and since then he has been in charge.

Publishing in three issues per year (April - August - December), it is a multisectoral refereed scientific journal. In addition to research articles, scientific articles such as reviews, case reports and letters to the editor are published in the journal. Our journal, which has been published via e-mail since its inception, has been published both online and in print. Following the Participation Agreement signed with TÜBİTAK-ULAKBİM Dergi Park in April 2015, it has started to accept and evaluate online publications.

Mersin University Journal of Health Sciences have been indexed by Turkey Citation Index since November 16, 2011.

Mersin University Journal of Health Sciences have been indexed by ULAKBIM Medical Database from the first issue of 2016.
