TURİZMDE KADIN İŞGÜCÜ ÖRNEKLEMİNDE YAZILAN LİSANSÜSTÜ TEZLERE YÖNELİK BİBLİYOMETRİK BİR ANALİZ

Öz

Bibliyometrik analiz, belirli bir alanda gerçekleştirilen araştırmaların çeşitli parametrelere göre gösterdikleri dağılımları ve eğilimleri inceleyen bir araştırma yöntemidir. Son yıllarda “Kadın İşgücü ve Turizm” olgularını bir arada ele alan çalışmaların sayısında gözlemlenen artış dikkate alınarak gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmada amaç, YÖK Ulusal Tez Tarama merkezi veri tabanında yer alan, kadın işgücü ve turizm konulu yüksek lisans ve doktora tezlerinin bibliyometrik açıdan incelenmesidir. Yapılacak yeni araştırmalara bir perspektif sunma amacını da taşıyan bu çalışmada yer alan tezler, yayınlandıkları yıl, tür, üniversite, ana bilim dalı, anahtar kelime, araştırma türü, analiz teknikleri, İşletme türü ve örneklemler açılarından incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçları, konusu kadın işgücü ve turizm olan lisansüstü tezlerin sayısının oldukça az olduğunu ve dolayısıyla alanda büyük bir boşluk olduğunu göstermektedir. Ayrıca sonuçlar, bu konu ile ilgili tezlerin çok büyük bir bölümünün yüksek lisans tezlerinden oluştuğunu, yıllara göre ise kadın işgücü ve turizm konulu tezlerin sayısında artış olduğunu, bu tezlerin daha çok Turizm İşletmeciliği Ana Bilim Dalı’nda hazırlandığını, araştırma türü olarak daha çok nicel araştırma tekniğinin, işletme türü olarak ise konaklama işletmelerinin daha çok kullanıldığını göstermektedir.

A BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS FOR POSTGRADUATE THESES WRITTEN IN THE SAMPLE OF FEMALE LABOR FORCE IN TOURISM

Abstract

Bibliometric analysis is a research method that examines the distribution and trends of research carried out in a particular field according to various parameters. The aim of this study, which has been carried out due to the increase observed in the number of studies dealing with "Female Labor Force and Tourism" together in recent years, is to examine the master's and doctoral theses on female labor force and tourism in a bibliometric perspective. In this study, which aims to provide a perspective for new researches, the theses have been examined in terms of year of publication, type, university, department, keyword, research type, analysis techniques, business type and samples. The results of the research indicate that, the number of postgraduate theses with the subject of female labor and tourism is very low and therefore there is a big gap in the field. In addition, the results show that most of the theses related to the subject consist of master's theses, the number of theses on women labor force and tourism has increased over the years, these theses are mostly prepared in the Tourism Management Departments, quantitative research technique is used more as a research type and accommodation businesses are used more as a type of business.
