impact of school libraries. The technological improvements, the changes in the information field has affected the paradigm of libraries. The education world (k- 12) and the school libraries have adapted their mission and goals to a new world, participatory and a creative style. Likewise the school librarian or the teacher librarian’s qualifications and the resposibilities have increased. A scho- ol library can be launched, but without a teacher librarian, a school library and the programmes cannot survive. The teacher librarians’ role in setting up a dynamic collection, the impact on reading skills and activities are indisputable. S/he can also collaborate with other teachers in orientation, information lite- racy, academic honesty, digital citizenship, makerspaces and technological sup- port
