COMPOSITION ORDER AND FIGURES’ YEAR SOLD LEFT HANDED CHILDREN’S PICTURES
Abstract
To understand a child who tries to express himself freely through drawing pictures,
considering all types of progress he has made from his birth till adolescence, and to
improve some methods and techniques may have an important contribution on art
education of a child. As the lyrical, joyful and rich expression of a child attending pre-school
dramatically becomes dull and inexpressive, it is urgently needed to have increasing
number of researches in the field of children art education.
The researches made on the pictures of children are basically focused on some
points such as the performance of children, their approach to drawing pictures, how to
express themselves through pictures, their feelings and their creativity etc. In this research,
the composition of the pictures of the left-handed primary school students between 7 and
15 years old are analyzed regarding the elements in the pictures such as the dominant
direction of the figures, their location, movement and symmetry. As a result of this research,
it has been determined that “direction” factor may play an important role with the lefthanded
children in their figure drawing. Furthermore, by taking various criteria in analyzing
and evaluating children art education “direction of figures” has been strongly emphasized.

FİGÜRLERİN YÖNÜ VE KOMPOZİSYON DÜZENİ
Abstract
Resim yoluyla özgür bir çaba içerisine giren çocuğun, bebeklikten başlayıp çocukluktan çıkıncaya kadar geçirdiği evreleri en doğru biçimde anlamak, bu yolda program ve yöntemler geliştirmek, çocuğun sanat eğitimine önemli katkılar sağlayacaktır. Okul öncesi çocuğunun zengin, coşkulu ve şiirsel anlatımının, okul döneminde yerini cansızlığa ve kuruluğa bırakmış olması, çocuk resimleri ve sanat eğitimi alanındaki araştırma ve inceleme çalışmalarının artarak devam etmesi gereğine işaret etmektedir Resimleri üzerinde yapılan bu araştırmalarda, çocuğun resimsel performansı, resme
yaklaşımları, resim yoluyla kendilerini dışavurumları, duyguları, yaratıcılıkları vb. daha
birçok özellikleri incelenmeye çalışılmaktadır. Bu araştırmada ise, solyanlı (solak) ilköğretim
çağı 7-15 yaş çocuklarının resimlerindeki kompozisyon düzeni (figürlerin hakim yönü, resim
yüzeyindeki dağılımları – yer alışları – ile hareket ve simetri) bakımından incelenmiş,
sağyanlılarla aralarında farklılıkların olup olmadığına bakılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular
doğrultusunda, solyanlı çocukların figür çizimlerinde karşılaşabilecekleri zorluklar
bakımından bir etken olabileceği düşünülen “yön” faktörüne dikkat çekilmiştir. Bir başka
deyişle, çocuk resimlerinin incelenmesi ve değerlendirilmesinde dikkate alınan çeşitli
kriterlere, özellikle “figürlerin yönü” açısından da bakmanın önemi üzerinde durulmuştur.
