THE ATTITUTUDES OF PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS TOWARDS THE TURKISH COURSE: KÖYCEĞİZ CASE

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the attitudes of the primary school students toward the Turkish course. This study conducted on 526 students of 5 th, 6 th, 7 th and 8 th grades who are attending Turkish courses. Data were collected through likert type attitudes scale. The results of this study showed that attitudes of the students have changed according to their sex, class level and educational level of their parents. 5 th grade students whose mothers’ educational level is high showed more positive attitudes and the study showed that fathers’ educational level has less effect on students attitudes.

İLKÖĞRETİMÖĞRENCİLERİNİNTÜRKÇEDERSİNE YÖNELİKTUTUMLARI:KÖYCEĞİZÖRNEKLEMİ

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı ilköğretim öğrencilerinin Türkçe dersine yönelik tutumlarını belirlemektir. Çalışma; İlköğretim okullarında 5., 6., 7. ve 8. sınıflar düzeyinde Türkçe dersine devam eden 526 öğrenci üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Veriler likert tipi tutum ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, öğrencilerin Türkçe dersine karşı tutumları, cinsiyetine, sınıf düzeylerine, anne ve babanın eğitim düzeylerine göre değişmektedir. Türkçe dersine yönelik tutumlarında, sınıf düzeyinde 5. sınıfların ve eğitim düzeyi yüksek olan anneye sahip öğrencilerin daha olumlu ve etkili olduğu görülmüştür. Babanın eğitim düzeyinin etkisinin daha az olduğu belirlenmiştir
