ORTAOKUL ÖĞRENCİLERİNDE OKUL TÜKENMİŞLİĞİNİ AÇIKLAMADA EĞİTİM STRESİ VE OKUL DOYUMUNUN ROLÜ

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ortaokul öğrencilerinin okul tükenmişliği puan ortalamalarının cinsiyete, sınıf düzeyine ve okul türüne göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını belirlemek, okul tükenmişliği, eğitim stresi ve okul doyumu arasındaki ilişkileri incelemek ayrıca eğitim stresi ile okul doyumunun okul tükenmişliği puanlarını açıklamada anlamlı bir yerinin olup olmadığını saptamaktır. Bu amaçla 298 ortaokul öğrencisine İlköğretim II. Kademe Öğrencileri için Okul Tükenmişliği Ölçeği (İÖOTÖ), Eğitim Stresi Ölçeği (ESÖ) ve Çocuklar için Kapsamlı Okul Doyumu Ölçeği (ÇKODÖ) uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın istatistiksel analizlerinde, Bağımsız Ortalamalar için T-Testi, Pearson Momentler Çarpım Korelâsyonu Analizi ve Çoklu Doğrusal Regresyon Analizi teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre, eğitim stresi ile okul doyumunun, okul tükenmişliği puanlarının güçlü yordayıcıları olduğu ve okul tükenmişliğine ilişkin varyansın yaklaşık %62’sini açıkladığı görülmüştür. Bu bilgiler ışığında, öğrencilerin geliştirebileceği okul tükenmişliğine yönelik yapılması planlanan rehberlik ve psikolojik danışma hizmetlerinde risk ve koruyucu faktör olarak belirlenen aracı değişkenlerin önemine vurgu yapılarak tartışılmış ve bu konuda yapılacak sonraki araştırmalar için önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
