ABOUT THE LEGITIMACY LEVEL OF TURKISH ENTERPRENEUR A FOCUS GROUP STURDY

Abstract

This study is made in order to determine the legitimacy levels of the activities, behaviors and life styles of Turkish enterpreneurs and the reasons determining this level. Under the scope of this purpose, focus froup interviews were made with e-mba students having enterpreneurship lesson in a private university. The data obtained at the end of the research shows that the legitimacy level of Turkish enterpreneur is low. The reasons for such a legitimacy level are; the relations of enterpreneurs with the government, assertions regarding the origins of some enterpreneurs, the unsuccessful view of Turkish enterpreneurs compared with European and Asian enterpreneurs, the view of employees in the eye of enterpreneurs and thier behaviors towards employees
