THE EXAMINATION OF MEDIATING ROLE OF PERCEIVED ETHICAL CLIMATE ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND WORK ALIENATION
Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the impacts of transformational leadership and ethical climate perception over work alienation. Thus, in this study, the impacts of transformational leadership over work alienation and the mediating role of ethical climate perception in this impact have been analyzed. In the theoretical part, transformational leadership, work alienation and ethical climate have been respectively described and explained. Next, studies dealing with the relationship among variables have been analyzed and accordingly research model and hypothesis have been formed. The model is designed as a structural equation model (SEM). Data is collected from 240 bank workers operating in Uşak province in order to clarify the hypotheses determined based on the structural equation modeling. Collected data has been subject to analysis through SPSS and AMOS programs. As a result of these analyses, it has been found out that transformational leadership has a negative impact on work alienation and the ethical climate perception have a partial mediating role in this impact
