Matematik Eğitiminde Öğrenme Güçlükleri/Learning Difficulties in Mathematics Education

Abstract

Bu çalışmada öğrenme güçlüğü ile ilgili literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Yapılan literatür taramasında, bu kavramı sosyolojik ve psikolojik faktörlerden ziyade bilişsel faktörler açısından ele alan yayınlar dikkate alınmıştır. Çalışmada ilgili literatür sırasıyla; “öğrenme güçlüğü kavramının eğitimdeki ve özelliklede matematik eğitimindeki önemi nedir”, “matematikte hangi konularda ne tür güçlükler vardır” ve “bu güçlükleri gidermenin yolları nelerdir” gibi sorulara cevap arama çerçevesinde incelenmiştir. Yapılan incelemenin sonucunda öğrenme güçlüklerini gidermeye yönelik çalışmaların, güçlükleri belirleme türündeki çalışmalara nazaran yok denecek kadar az olduğu görülmüştür.

Abstract

In this study, literature review about learning difficulties was carried out. In the conducted literature survey, publications have been taken into account, which study this concept in terms of cognitive factors rather than sociological and psychological factors. In the study, it is focus on the answers of these questions, respectively: What is the importance of the learning difficulties in education and in mathematics education especially? What kinds of difficulties are there in any given topic in mathematics? What are the ways to overcome these difficulties? As a result of the conducted examination, it has been observed that there are scarcely any studies oriented to overcome the learning difficulties compared to the studies oriented to determine these difficulties.
