Psammotettix striatus (L.) (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae)’un ergin parazitoitleri: Türkiye için yeni bir Dryinid (Hymenoptera: Dryinidae) kaydı

Öz

Bu çalışma, Şanlıurfa ilinde mısır, pamuk ve sebze alanlarında zararlı yaprakpirelerinin ergin parazitoitleri ile parazitlenme oranlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla 2022 yılında yapılmıştır. Örneklemeler için pamuk, mısır ve sebze (domates, biber) alanlarından bitkilerin vejetatif döneminden başlayarak periyodik olmayan aralıklarla böcek toplama aleti (D-Vac) ile yaprakpiresi türleri toplanmıştır. Toplanan yaprakpiresi türleri içinden ergin parazitoitleri tarafından parazitlenmiş ve abdomenin lateral kısmında siyah kese oluşmuş bulunanlar cam tüplere aktarılmıştır. Larva çıkışları sağlandıktan sonra, larvalar kültür kaplarına alınarak laboratuvar ortamında parazitoit türler belirlenmiştir. Parazitlenme oranları, çalışma yapılan her bir üründen toplanan parazitlenmiş ergin/nimflerin sayısının toplam yaprakpiresi sayısına oranlanması ile belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada, mısır, pamuk ve sebze alanlarındaki yaprakpiresi türlerinden sadece Psammotetix striatus (L.) türünün ergin parazitoiti olarak iki tür belirlenmiş ve bunların Gonatopus lunatus Klug,1810 (Hym.:Dryinidae) ve Gonatopus abdulnouri Olmi ( Hym.: Dryinidae) olduğu kaydedilmiştir. Gonatopus abdulnouri’nin Türkiye Drynidae familyası için ilk kayıt olduğu bu çalışma ile belirlenmiştir. G. abdulnouri’nin P. striatus’u parazitleme oranları oldukça düşük oranda gerçekleşmiş ve bu oranların biber, domates, mısır ve pamukta sırasıyla %0.3, 0,4, 0,6, 0.9 olduğu kaydedilmiştir.

Adult parasitoids of Psammotetix striatus (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae): A new record for Dryinid (Hymenoptera: Dryinidae) in Türkiye

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the parasitism rates of harmful leafhoppers with adult parasitoids in corn, cotton, and vegetable fields in Şanlıurfa province in 2022. Samples were collected from cotton, corn, and vegetable (tomato, pepper) fields using an insect vacuum device (D-Vac) at various locations in the fields at irregular intervals, starting from the vegetative stage of the plants. Among the collected leafhopper species, those that were parasitized by adult parasitoids and had black sacs formed in the lateral part of the abdomen were transferred to glass tubes. After larval emergence, larvae were transferred to culture containers, and parasitoid species were determined in laboratory conditions. Parasitization rates were determined by comparing the number of parasitized adults/nymphs collected from each crop to the total number of leafhoppers. In the study, only two species of adult parasitoids were identified for the leafhopper species in corn, cotton, and vegetable fields, which were Gonatopus lunatus Klug, 1810 (Hymenoptera: Dryinidae) and Gonatopus abdulnouri Olmi (Hymenoptera: Dryinidae), with Psammotetix striatus (L.) as the host. G. abdulnouri is the first record for the Dryinidae family in Turkey. The parasitization rates of G. abdulnouri on P. striatus were found to be quite low, with rates recorded as 0.3%, 0.4%, 0.6%, and 0.9% in pepper, tomato, corn, and cotton, respectively.
