TOGETHERNESS OF SUBCONJUNCTIVAL HEMORRAGIE AND HENOCHSHONLEIN PURPURA: CASE REPORT

Abstract

Henoch-Schonlein Purpura is the most encountered systemic vasculit syndrome in childhood and effects on small vessels. Though eye involvement could be seen in the major of the systemic vasculitis it has been rarely reported in Henoch-Schonlein Purpura. Our patient had subconjunctival hemorragie with classical symptoms of Henoch-Schonlein Purpura, and we reported the case, because it was known that the eye symptoms were rarely seen while in the progress of Henoch Schonlein Purpura.

HENOCH-SCHÖNLEİN PURPURALI BİR OLGUDA SUBKONJUNKTİVAL KANAMA: OLGU SUNUMU

Abstract

Henoch-Schönlein purpurası küçük çaplı damarları tutan ve çocukluk çağının en sık görülen sistemik vaskülitidir. Göz tutulumu sistemik vaskülitlerin çoğunda görülmesine rağmen Henoch-Schönlein purpurasında çok nadir olarak rapor edilmiştir. Henoch-Schönlein purpurası klasik bulguları ile eş zamanlı olarak subkonjunktival kanamamanın görüldüğü hastamız, hastalığın seyri sırasında göz tutulumun da görülebileceğine dikkat çekmek amacı ile sunulmuştur.Henoch-Schönlein purpurası (HSP), çocukluk çağının en sık görülen vaskülitidir (1). Histopatolojik olarak küçük damar duvarlarında IgA depolanmasının olduğu lökositoklastik vaskülit olarak bilinen bu hastalıkta klinik olarak en sık cilt tutulumu görülür. Cilt tutulumu palpabl purpura şeklindedir.
