Yaşlı Hastada Renal Anjiomiyolipomun Selektif Arteriyel Embolizasyonu: Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Renal anjiomiyolipom (AML) nadir benign mezenkimal bir tümördür. Semptomatik hastalarda veya retroperitoneal kanama riski ve malignesi riski olan hastlarda tedavi düşünülmelidir. Burada, 77 yaşındaki bayan retroperitoneal kanmaya neden olan AML hastaya selektif embolizasyon ile tedavisini sunduk.

Selective Arterial Embolization of Renal Angiomyolipoma in an Elderly :Case Report

Abstract

Renal angiomyolipoma (AML) is a rare benign mesenchymal neoplasm. Treatment should be considered for symptomatic patients or for those at risk for complications, in particular for retroperitoneal bleeding, which is correlated to the size of the tumor, grade of the angiogenic component, presence of pain and suspicion malignancy. Herein, we report the case of a 77-year-old female with renal AML who caused life-threatening retroperitoneal hemorrhages by selective embolization.
