IMPLANT RETAİNED AURİCULAR PROSTHESİS: A CASE REPORT

Abstract

Extraoral implant retained prosthesis are plastic materials and they have been used to construct and cover the defects. In this case reports, patient lost his left ear and fabrication of his auricular
prosthesis was explained.

Abstract

Ağız dışına yapılan protezler plastik materyalden yapılıp defektlerin onarılması ve kapatılması için kullanılırlar. Bu çalışmada elektirik çarpması sonucu sol kulak kaybı yaşayan hastanın implant destekli kulak protezi ile tedavisi anlatılmıştır.Yüz bölgesinde meydana gelen organ ve doku kayıpları bölgenin, hastanın dış görünümü açısından ön planda olmasından dolayı fonksiyondan ziyade hastada estetik açıdan daha önemli hale gelmektedir (1). Ayrıca bu estetik gereksinim kişide meydana gelecek olan psikolojik problemlerin giderilmesi açısından da önemlidir. Bu açıdan bakıldığında çene ve yüz bölgesinde meydana gelen problemlerin onarılmasında çene yüz protezlerinin kullanılması kişinin estetik, fonksiyon ve psikolojik birçok ihtiyacını karşılayacak ve hasta memnuniyetini sağlamada önemli rol oynayacaktır.
