Abstract

Yabancı cisim aspirasyonları çocukluk çağında hayatı tehdit eden acillerdendir. Üç yaş altı çocuklarda daha sık görülmektedir. Zamanında tanınmaları ve tedavi edilmeleri durumunda ciddi komplikasyonlardan kaçınılmış olur. Gecikmiş tanı inatçı öksürükten, tekrarlayan akciğer enfeksiyonu ve bronşiektaziye kadar farklı klinik bulgulara neden olabilir.  Çocukluk çağının bu grup acillerinin büyük bir bölümü önlenebilir. Bu konuda aile eğitimi oldukça önemlidir. Bu yazıda yumurta kabuğu aspire eden 9 aylık bir kız çocuğu sunuldu.
