Abstract

Lityum, iki
uçlu bozukluk(İUB) akut ve sürdürüm tedavisinde en sık kullanılan duygudurum
düzenleyici ilaçlardan biridir. Lityum tedavi süresince pek çok hasta
tarafından iyi tolere edilmektedir. Ancak lityum hassasiyeti bireyler arasında
belirgin farklılık göstermektedir. Lityumun terapötik aralığının dar olmasından
dolayı birçok organ sistemi üzerine toksik etkileri görülebilmektedir. Bu
olguyu sunma amacımız, İUB manik atak tanısıyla kliniğe yatışı yapılan hastada
yatış sırasında lityum tedavi aralığının çok altındaki plazma lityum düzeyinde
(0.3 mg/l) lityum intoksikasyonunun tüm bulguları ortaya çıkan bir olguyu
literatür eşliğinde tartışmaktır.
