Pyrenophora Teres’ de Patojenik Varyasyon

Abstract

Pyrenophora teres’ in neden olduğu ağ benek hastalığı dünyada olduğu gibi ülkemizde de arpa hastalıkları arasında kaliteyi ve verimi etkileyen önemli bir hastalıktır. Hastalığa sebep olan patojenin iki tipi bulunmaktadır. Pyrenophora teres Drechs. f. teres Smedeg. ağ tipi belirtilere, P.teres. f. maculata Smedeg. nokta tipi belirtilere neden olmaktadır. Funguslarda, çeşitli yollar ile virülens değişiklikleri ortaya çıkabilmekte ve dayanıklı olarak belirlenen genotipler bu değişiklikler sonucu ortaya çıkan yeni virülent patotiplere karşı zamanla hassas reaksiyon verebilmektedir. Yetiştirilmekte olan arpa çeşitlerinin dayanıklılık durumları virulent patotiplerce etkilenebilir. Başarılı bir yetiştirme programı için çeşitlerin tepkilerinin belirlenmesi, olası dayanıklı genotiplerin tespit edilmesi ve ağ benek patojeninin virülens değişkenliğinin bilinmesi önem kazanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada P. teres f. teres ve P. teres f. maculata etmenlerinin virülensliğinin değişik bölgelerdeki farklılığı ve konukçu dayanıklılığı rapor edilmiştir. P.teres’in virülensliğinin sürekli olarak izlenmesi bu patojenin dayanıklılık kalıtımı çalışmalarına katkıda bulunmakta ve P.teres’ e karşı dayanıklılık stratejileri geliştirmeye yardımcı olmaktadır.
