Publication Policy
1. MSFAU Academy Journal is a national peer-reviewed journal published twice a year.

2. Manuscripts submitted for publication must be original, scientific articles, research papers, reviews, translations, book reviews/critiques, or interviews that contribute to the field and must not have been published previously.

3. Submissions to the journal must be in Turkish or English.

4. Manuscripts are sent to reviewers after preliminary evaluation by field editors. A double-blind peer review process is applied during the evaluation.

5. In accordance with the journal’s publication principles, the similarity rate of manuscripts uploaded via DergiPark is determined using the iThenticate programme at the time of submission. In order for a manuscript to be considered for review, the similarity rate must not exceed 20%. Manuscripts with a similarity rate of 20% or higher are directly rejected and not sent for peer review. If the condition is met, the manuscripts are forwarded to reviewers.

6. In cases of scientific misconduct, conflict of interest, or copyright infringement during the evaluation process, the international ethical principles set by the Committee on Publication Ethics are applied.

7. MSFAU Academy Journal adheres to international open access principles to ensure that academic knowledge provides social benefit. Articles published in the journal after peer review may be used within the framework of international open access definitions.

8. All authors of articles published in the journal are deemed to have accepted the open access conditions.

9. Studies that pass the preliminary review and similarity check are evaluated by the relevant field editor in terms of subject, scope, language, and academic adequacy. Field editors assume the editorial ethical responsibilities defined for editors from the acceptance of the article to the publication of the issue.

10. The APA 7 reference system must be used in manuscripts submitted to the journal.

11. The scientific responsibility for articles published in the journal belongs to the authors.
