Developments in Turkish Economy

Abstract

Regarding economical grow and decrease in the inflation, positive comments are being expressed during the past four years. Nevertheless, increasing current transaction gap and unemployment are mostly underestimated. We are duty bound to read the data about the economy carefully due to which we should identify the situation. Regarding from a long term perspective to the developments concerning economy, we see that education and health sector still takes a limited portion in the budget. In addition, agriculture and energy sector investments are being underestimated. It is a fact that, the quit of foreign capital will cause an increase in foreign currency and interest ratios.

Türkiye Ekonomisinde Gelişmeler

Abstract

Son dört yıldır ekonominin büyümesi, enflasyonun düşmesi gibi göstergelere bakılarak olumlu yorumlar yapılmakta ancak, cari işlemler açığının büyümesi, işsizlik oranlarının artması gibi göstergelerin önemi üzerinde yeterince durulmamaktadır. Oysa, ekonomik veriler doğru okunmalı, doğru tanı konulmalıdır. Ekonomik gelişmelere uzun süreli olarak bakıldığında eğitim ve sağlık giderlerinin düşük düzeyde kaldığı, tarım ve enerji yatırımlarına önem verilmediği görülmektedir. Sıcak paranın ülkeden çıkmaya başlaması ile döviz kuru ve faizlerin yükselmesi kaçınılmaz olacaktır.
