Abstract

11. Dünya Muhasebe Tarihçileri Kongresi 19-22 Temmuz 2006 tarihlerinde Fransa, Nantes’ta yapılmıştır. Kongreye yirmi farklı ülkeden katılım olmuş ve 66 bildiri sunulmuştur. Türkiye ise yirmi kişi ile katılmış ve yedi bildiri sunmuştur. Kongrenin başkanlığını Nantes Üniversitesi’nden Prof. Yannick Lemarchand yapmıştır.Kongrenin bir ana tema etrafında değil, çeşitli konuları ele alan bildiriler çerçevesinde organize edildiği dikkati çekmiştir. Türk delegasyonu on ikincisini yapmak üzere kongreyi devralmıştır. Bu amaçla kongre süresince kongreyi ve Türk muhasebe kültürünü tanıtan bir stand açılmıştır.

Evaluation of 11th World Congress of Accounting Historians

Abstract

11th World Congress of Accounting Historians was held July 19-22, 2006 in Nantes, France. Attendees from twenty countries participated in the congress and presented 66 papers. Twenty people from Turkey attended to the congress and they presented seven papers. The convenor of the congress was Prof. Yannick Lemarchand.It would be appropriate to state that the congress was not drawn within framework of a main theme; it was organized within context of wide range of subjects.Turkish delegation took over the congress in order to organize the 12th Congress in 2008. For this purpose, an information desk promoting the 12th congress and Turkish accounting culture was set up at the congress venue.
