Abstract

Bu çalışmada, İstanbul Menkul Kıymetler Borsası’nda işlem gören onbir teknoloji şirketinin mali tabloları kullanılarak, şirketlerin mali performansları TOPSIS yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Mali performans ölçümünde ilk olarak finansal oranlar belirlenmiş ve oran analizi kullanılarak, finansal oranlar her bir şirket için ayrı ayrı hesaplanmıştır. Daha sonra hesaplanan oranlar; TOPSIS yöntemi kullanılarak genel şirket performansını gösteren tek bir puana çevrilmiştir. Ardından şirketlerinin sıralaması yapılarak, şirketlerinin derecelendirmesi tamamlanmaktadır. Performans puanları şirketlerin derecelendirilmesinde kullanılmıştır. 2006-2009 sürecinde yer alan dört dönem için mali performans değerlemesi yapılmış ve elde edilen sonuçlar arasında karşılaştırma yapılmıştır.

Abstract

In this study, a performance measurement model is developed to rank the technological companies. Eleven publicly held technological companies trading in Istanbul Stock Exchange are selected and eight financial ratios are obtained from their financial statements. Additionally, financial ratios have been used to explain and calculate values of the companies in order to discuss in detail. Then, TOPSIS method is applied to combine different ratios to obtain a single performance score. The performance scores are used to rank the companies for the last four years in the year between 20062009
