Bologna Sürecinin Muhasebe Eğitimine Etkisi: Üniversitelerin İşletme Bölümlerinin Ders Programları Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Türkiye’nin Avrupa ile bütünleşme süreci, 1960 yılından günümüze artarak devam etmektedir. Bu süreç özellikle sosyal, ekonomik, kültürel ve yükseköğretim alanında etkisini göstermektedir. Avrupa’da ortak bir Yüksek Öğrenim Alanı oluşturmak amacıyla çeşitli anlaşmalar yapılarak yürürlüğe girmiştir. Yapılan anlaşmaların en önemlilerinden biri olan Bologna Süreci Avrupa’da faaliyet gösteren üniversitelerde ortak ders müfredatları oluşturmaktır. Bunun yanında Bologna Süreciyle verilen derslerin kalitesini ve içeriğini belirli bir standarda getirmek amaçlanmaktadır. Bu süreçten muhasebe eğitimi, derslerin içeriği ve kredisi açısından etkilenmiştir. Çalışmada Türkiye’de eğitim veren devlet ve vakıf üniversitelerinin İşletme Bölümlerinde okutulan müfredatlar incelenmiştir. Yapılan çalışmada seçilen üniversiteler, ulusal kredi ve AKTS’leri açısından değerlendirilmiştir.

The Impact of Bologna Process on Accounting Education: An Analysis on Curricula of Business Administration Departments of Universities

Abstract

The integration process of Turkey into the European Union has been increasingly continuing since 1960. This process specifically has impacts on social, economic, cultural and academic life. Various agreements have become effective in Europe to develop a common European Higher Education Area. One of the most important agreements is the Bologna Process, which aims to create a common curriculum in European universities. In addition, one other aim of Bologna Process is to achieve a certain standard in the quality and content of the courses offered. Accounting education has also been affected by this process in terms of the content and the credits of the courses. In this study, the curricula of Business Administration Departments of state and non-profit private universities in Turkey were examined. The selected universities were evaluated on the basis of national credits and ECTSs of the courses.
