Abstract

Muhasebe eğitimi; işletmelerin muhasebe işlemlerinin yürütülmesi için gerekli muhasebe bilgi ve tekniklerini içeren uygulamalara dayanır. Türkiye’de muhasebe eğitiminin temeli Ticaret Meslek Liselerinde (TML) atılmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı; TML’lerde verilen muhasebe eğitimini inceleyerek, alınan bu eğitim ile öğrencilerin muhasebecilik mesleğine uygunluğunu meslek mensuplarının bakış açısından değerlendirmektir. Çalışmada, Bursa’daki TML’de verilen muhasebe eğitiminin, meslek mensubu olma yolunda bazı boyutlarda yeterli olmadığı, eğitim faaliyetlerinde meslek mensuplarının daha çok görüşlerinin alınması gerektiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Accounting Education In The Commerce Secondary Schools With Respect To Opinions Of Accountancy Professionals: An Application On Bursa

Abstract

Accounting education is based on the applications which contain relevant accounting knowledge and techniques necessary to sustain accounting operations of the firms. In Turkey, the base of accounting education is given at Commerce Secondary Schools (CSS). The purpose of this study is to evaluate the appropriateness of the students to the accounting occupation by investigating the education offered by CSS from accountancy professionals’ point of view. In the study, it is found that the accounting education offered by CSS in Bursa isn’t adequate at some dimensions in the way of being the professional, and the professionals’ opinions should be considered more in education activities.
