Abstract
Yeni ekonomi terimi son 15 yıldır ekonominin yapısı, kuralları ve fonksiyonlarında nitelik ve nicelik olarak önemli değişiklikler yapmıştır. Yeni ekonomi bilgidir, mal ve hizmetlerde yeni fikirleri ve teknolojileri içine alarak daha yüksek yaşam standardı ve istihdam yaratmak için kullanılan bilgi esaslı ekonomidir.Bu çalışmada, elektronik ticaret kavramı tanımlanarak, elektronik ticaretin çeşitleri, avantajları ve dezavantajları ve onun güncel ve iş hayatına etkileri incelenmiştir.
