Abstract

Günümüzde önemli bir klinik etik sorun haline dönüşen prognozu ümitsiz
hastaların ötanazi talep etmesinin bir hak gibi görülmesi ve bu konuda ABD ve
bazı kıta Avrupası ülkelerinde hukuki düzenlemelerin yapılmış olması etik bir
ikilem olarak geçerliliğini korumaktadır. Yaşama hakkının kişinin özerkliği
gibi görülmesi, bu kavramın hasta hakları evrensel bildirgelerinde yer alması
ve ölme hakkı yolunun mazur gösterilmesi gelecekte bu konuda birçok sorunun
yaşanmasına neden olacaktır.

Abstract

Considering
euthanasia requests of patients with hopeless prognoses as a right and having
established legal regulations for it in the USA and in some countries of
continental Europe has become a major clinical ethical problem and an ethical
dilemma today. Seeing the right to live as autonomy of a person, inclusion of
this concept in the universal declarations of patient rights, and legitimizing
the right to die will lead to many problems in the future.
