Notes from Anatolian Folk Medicine

Abstract

Who died on April 9, 2010 my dear wife and my colleague Folklorist Meltem Cingöz Santur an important part of the compilation and research work, especially in traditional practices, especially related to childbirth, folk medicine, respectively. This part of the work of “The Lokman Hekim History of Medicine and Folk Medicine Days” Adana and Şanlıurfa, offering the first and the third of the researcher, as well as in Manisa attended the fourth meeting together to prepare a declaration, issued at the second in Tarsus and the sixth in Antakya prepared together again, but he could not attend these meetings because of excuses and discomfort. Folk medicine also reported in the scientific meetings also participated in the Meltem Cingöz Santur, however, articles in periodicals and unpublished studies on the same subject are also available.
