Abstract

Pharmacists, who state various problems such as being not able to give health service that is aimed to patients because of increasing bureaucracy for the pharmacies, and living misunderstandings with patients, are awaiting immediate solutions as though these problems have occurred currently. We wonder if the pharmacists face these problems for the first time? Importance of our profession’s history emerges here at this point. Problems that pharmacists face are studied carefully by going through profession magazines illustrated in time from the first years of the Republic till today. And questions below were tried to be answered with its similar. (i) Do the statements of pharmacists about the circumstances that they are in, show the reality? (ii) Were pharmacists able to serve efficiently without problems in previous years? (iii) If exist, what are the main problems? (iv) Were these problems differ from those of today? (v) How many of the problems existed from past till today were solved? With this study, problems that we lived and that are probable to be lived are evaluated, with considering changes that occurred in our profession from past till today and foresights are made for the future.

ECZACI SORUNLARI: DÜNÜ, BUGÜNÜ, YARINI

Abstract

Eczanelerinde artan bürokrasiden dolayı, hastalara hedeflediği sağlık hizmetini verememesinden
hastalarla yaşanılan yanlış anlaşılmalara kadar çeşitli sorunlarını dile getiren eczacılar günümüzde
bu sorunlar yeni çıkmış gibi acil çözüm beklemektedir. Acaba eczacılar bu sorunlar ile ilk defa mı
karşılaşıyorlar? İşte tam da bu noktada meslek tarihimizin önemi ortaya çıkmaktadır. Buradan
hareketle Cumhuriyet’in ilk yıllarından bugüne kadar yayınlanmış meslek dergileri taranarak
eczacıların karşılaştıkları sorunlar irdelenmiş ve aşağıdaki sorulara ve benzerlerine cevap aranmaya
çalışılmıştır:
(i) Eczacıların içinde bulunduğu durum söylemleri gerçeği ne kadar yansıtmaktadır? (ii) Daha önceki
yıllarda eczacılar sorunsuz hizmet verebiliyorlar mıydı? (iii) Şayet var ise, ağırlıklı sorunlar nelerdi?
(iv) Bu sorunlar şimdikilerden farklı mıydı? (v) Geçmişten günümüze var olan sorunların ne kadarı
çözüm bulmuştur?
Bu çalışma ile mesleğimizde geçmişten günümüze gerçekleşen değişimler göz önünde bulundurularak
yaşanan ve yaşanılması muhtemel sorunlar değerlendirilmiş ve gelecek için öngörülerde
bulunulmuştur.
