In a literary criticism environment where literary texts are labeled as inauthentic, fake, fictional, and their absolute lack of truth is expressed and are therefore suggested to be deconstructed just as they are constructed, eminent text is a badge of distinction, a badge of honor that Hans-Georg Gadamer bestows upon literary texts. Gadamer calls these texts, which he refers to as literary or poetic texts, eminent texts precisely because of the authentic of their texture, their interwoven threads.
