Abstract
The book 50 Shades of Humanities: On Eco, Digital, Medical, and Posthuman Voices (2023) examines the intertwined historical and intellectual processes of debates conducted in the fields of philosophy, literature, biology, medicine, ecology, ethics, and technology. Edited by Başak Ağın and Gizem Yılmaz, the book was published by Kapadokya University Publications. 50 Shades of Humanities is an important and critical reference work for anyone following ongoing academic studies worldwide and in Turkey, due to its scope, concepts, and topics covered. In the Anthropocene Age, which demonstrates how human activities have become a dominant force in shaping the planet's history, dealing with the ongoing climate, ecological, cultural, economic, social, and political crises, this book lays the foundations for how we will construct our stories and brings together numerous concepts and approaches for the first time in Turkish in such a comprehensive scope. We discussed the concepts, methodologies, and future scenarios proposed by "50 Shades of Humanities" with the editors of the book, Başak Ağın and Gizem Yılmaz.

Abstract
Felsefe, edebiyat, biyoloji, tıp, ekoloji, etik ve teknoloji alanlarında yürütülen tartışmaların birbiri içine geçen tarihsel ve düşünsel süreçlerini irdeleyen Beşerî Bilimlerin 50 Rengi: Çevreci, Dijital, Tıbbi ve Posthüman Sesler (2023) kitabı, Başak Ağın ve Zümre Gizem Yılmaz editörlüğünde Kapadokya Üniversitesi Yayınları’ndan çıktı. Beşerî Bilimlerin 50 Rengi, kapsadığı alan, ele aldığı kavram ve konularla dünyada ve Türkiye’de süregelen güncel akademik çalışmaları takip eden herkes için çok önemli, başucu kaynağı niteliğinde bir eser. İnsan faaliyetlerinin gezegenin tarihini şekillendirmede nasıl baskın güç hâline geldiğini gösteren Antroposen Çağı’nda, yaşamakta olduğumuz iklimsel, ekolojik, kültürel, ekonomik, toplumsal ve siyasal krizlerle nasıl başa çıkacağımızın, onlara nasıl yanıt vereceğimizin ve en önemlisi de hikâyelerimizi nasıl kuracağımızın temellerini oluşturan çok sayıdaki kavram ve yaklaşımı Türkçede ilk kez bir çalışma, böylesi geniş bir kapsamda bir araya getiriyor. Beşerî Bilimlerin 50 Rengi’nin önerdiği kavramlar, metodolojiler ve gelecek kurgusu üzerine kitabın editörleri Başak Ağın ve Gizem Yılmaz ile söyleştik.
