Abstract

COVİD-19 Pandemi Sürecinde Endodonti Kliniğine Gelen Hasta Anksiyete Düzeyi
ÖZET
Amaç: Aralık 2019'da, Çin'in Wuhan şehri tarafından, 2019 yeni korona virüsün (SARS-CoV-2) neden olduğu atipik pnömoni salgını bildirilmiştir. 30 Ocak 2020'de Dünya Sağlık Örgütü (WHO) bunu bir pandemi olarak nitelendirmiştir.
Gereç ve Yöntemler: Bu çalışma Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi Endodonti Anabilim Dalı’nda Temmuz 2020’den Ekim 2020’ye kadar gelen hastalar üzerinde yapılmıştır. Endodonti Anabilim Dalı’na başvuran yaşları 17-59 arasında değişen 223’ü erkek 264’ü bayandan oluşan 487 hasta çalışmaya katılmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı açıklandıktan sonra tüm hastalardan ayrıntılı bilgilendirilmiş onam formu alınmıştır. Hastalara anket formu verilerek doldurulması istenmiştir.
Bulgular: Katılımcıların yaş ortalaması 34,52 dir. Hastaların 223’ü erkek 264’ü kadındır. Erkeklerin yaş ortalaması 35,28 kadınların yaş ortalaması 33,87’dir. Hastalardan 5’i kadın 13’ü erkek olmak üzere toplam 13 kişi (%2.6) covid semptomları olduğunu bildirmiştir.
Sonuç: COVID-19 pandemi sürecinin endodonti kliniğine gelen hasta anksiyete seviyesi üzerine etkili olduğu gözlenmiştir. Pandemi sürecinde, acil olmayan durumda kliniğe başvuracak hastaların anksiyete düzeyleri daha düşüktür. Kadınlar korona virüs pandemisi konusunda erkeklerden daha endişeli bulunmuştur.

Anxiety Level of the Patient Coming to the Endodontics Clinic during the COVID-19 Pandemic Process
Aim: In December 2019, an outbreak of atypicalpneumoniacausedbythe 2019 novelcoronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) wasreportedbytheChinesecity of Wuhan.OnJanuary 30, 2020, the World HealthOrganization (WHO) describedthis as a pandemic,
Materials and Methods: This study was carried out in Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Endodontics from July 2020 to October 2020. 487 patients, 223 male and 264 female, aged between 17-59, who applied to the Department of Endodontics, participated in the study. After the purpose of the study was explained, a detailed informed consent form was obtained from all patients. Patients were given a questionnaire to fill out.
Results:The average age of the participants is 34.52. 223 of the patients are male and 264 arefemale. Average age of men is 35.28, average age of women is 33.87.36. A total of 13 (2.6%) patients, 5 women and 13 men, reported covid symptoms.
Conclusion:It has been shown that the COVID-19 pandemic process has an impact on theanxietylevel of the patient who comes to the endodontic sclinic. The anxiety levels of the patients who will apply to the clinic in a non-emergency situation during the pandemic process are lower. Women were found to be more concerned about the coronavirus pandemic than men.
