Abstract
Gebelik, doğum ve doğum
sonrası süreç her ne kadar fizyolojik bir süreç olsa da kadınların içinde
bulundukları coğrafya, sosyoekonomik özellikler, dil sorunu gibi faktörlerden
etkilenmektedir. Her toplumun ya da her kadının gebelik, doğum ve doğum sonrası
dönem ile ilgili uygulamaları, ihtiyaçları ve beklentileri farklıdır. Bu
nedenle kadınların gereksinim duyduğu bakımı sağlayabilmek için
bireyselleştirilmiş kültürlere duyarlı hemşirelik modellerinin kullanılması
gerekmektedir. Bu modeller sayesinde kadınlara gereksinimleri ve kültürlerine
uygun bakım sunularak hem anne-bebek sağlığının korunmasına hem de olumlu doğum
deneyimi kazanmalarına katkı sağlanacaktır. Tüm bunlardan yola çıkarak bu
derlemede, perinatolojiye özgü transkültürel hemşirelik modellerinin gözden
geçirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.

Abstract
Although pregnancy is a
physiological process, it is affected by factors such as women's geography,
socioeconomic characteristics and language problem. Each society or every woman
has different practise, needs and expectations regarding pregnancy, delivery
and postpartum period. For this reason, nursing models that are sensitive to
individualized cultures should be used in order to provide the care required by
women. Thanks to these models, women will be provided care in line with their
needs and will contribute to the protection of mother's baby health and gaining
a positive birth experience. In this review, we aimed to review the perinatology-specific
transcultural nursing models.
