Special Issue

The NEVÜ Social Sciences Institute Journal, published by Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University, publishes four issues per year (December, March, June, September), and a special issue on a predetermined theme has been published annually since 2021. The journal's editorial board published special issues on the themes of Hacı Bektaş Veli in 2021, Digitalization in 2022, Specialization in 2023, and the 100th Anniversary of Turkey-Japan Relations in 2024. An average of 20-25 articles were published in these special issues, and this statistic is planned to be maintained in 2025.

The theme of the 2025 special issue is "Artificial Intelligence in the Social Sciences: Theory, Application, and Future Perspectives" and is planned to be published in November-December.

ANNOUNCEMENT:
Although more articles were submitted than the specified number of articles for our special issue on the theme "Artificial Intelligence in the Social Sciences: Theory, Application, and Future Perspectives," the need for a new article submission arose after the preliminary checks. The review process for the articles uploaded to our journal system in July and passed the initial checks is ongoing.

We will be accepting new articles for our special issue on the theme "Artificial Intelligence in the Social Sciences: Theory, Application, and Future Perspectives." The submission dates are August 20-22, 2025. Authors submitting articles within this period are expected to meet the following criteria.

1) Due to the limited time remaining for publication, articles that do not comply with the publication process and that contain author-specific information will be returned without any additional time. (Please ensure that the documents are in the required formats.)
2) When preparing a similarity report, only articles that have been scanned to reduce similarity, excluding citations and bibliographies, and that raise red flags such as hidden text or substituted characters, will be returned. Even if artificial intelligence is used in articles for translation, the use rate should not exceed 20%. (Authors are advised to be careful in these matters, as there will be no time for correspondence with the author.)
3) Priority will be given to research articles, and the methodology section of the articles should be detailed (data, analysis, findings, conclusions, etc.). Articles prepared using qualitative research that do not reflect the content of the mentioned research method will be returned. (Quantitative and qualitative research methods will be reviewed by our editorial board during the preliminary checks.)
4) Contents: Priority will be given to articles that include methods such as artificial neural networks, genetic algorithms, expert systems, fuzzy logic, etc.

5) Among submitted articles, a select number of studies will be considered for evaluation if they are original in their subject matter, contribute to the literature, and have been deemed qualified by the editorial board in their "method, analysis, and findings" sections (as they have been previously accepted).
