YOLSUZLUK ve EKONOMİK ÖZGÜRLÜK İLİŞKİSİ:AB ÜLKELERİ ÜZERİNE YATAY KESİT ANALİZİ

Abstract

Ekonomik özgürlük kavramı, mal ve hizmetlerin üretim, dağıtım yada tüketim aşamalarında kamunun herhangi bir kısıtlayıcı yada zorlayıcı müdahalesinin olmamasını ifade etmektedir.Ekonomik özgürlükler ekonomik sistemin yapısını belirler ve bu ekonomik yapı yolsuzluk üzerinde önemli bir etkiye sahiptir.Bu çalışmanın amacı ekonomik özgürlüklerin yolsuzluk üzerindeki etkisini 28 AB ülkesi ve Türkiye için 2014 verilerini kullanarak yatay-kesit analiz yöntemi ile test etmektir. Çalışmadan elde edilen analitik sonuçlarına göre ekonomik özgürlüklerin, yolsuzluk algılama endeksi üzerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ve pozitif yönlü bir etkiye sahip olduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır.
