The Journal of Nazilli Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (NİİBFD) is an open-access scholarly social sciences journal published twice a year and based on a double-blind peer review process. The journal publishes two issues annually, in June and December.
NİİBFD publishes scholarly works that are consistent with the journal’s aim and scope, particularly research articles, as well as theoretical, empirical, and applied studies. In addition, review articles, book reviews, case analyses, research notes, and letters to the editor may also be considered, provided that they are in line with the academic standards and publication policy of the journal. Conference notes, meeting evaluations, news items, and announcements are not considered peer-reviewed articles; however, they may be published as special editorial content subject to editorial review.
Manuscripts may be submitted to the journal in Turkish or English. Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the current article template and author guidelines available on the journal page. Submissions that do not comply with the template, author guidelines, ethical declarations, and blind peer review principles may be returned to the author at the preliminary review stage.
Manuscripts submitted to NİİBFD must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal. Manuscripts are accepted only through the DergiPark system. Submissions made by e-mail are not considered for evaluation.
No submission, review, processing, or publication fees are charged for manuscripts submitted to the journal. NİİBFD does not request any fees from authors at any stage.
If a submitted manuscript is based on research requiring ethics committee approval, the name of the relevant ethics committee, the date of approval, and the decision number must be clearly stated in the manuscript. Ethics committee approval must be obtained for studies involving human participants, such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, observations, experiments, and similar forms of research. For studies that do not require ethics committee approval, this must be appropriately declared in the manuscript.
Authors are responsible for the opinions, claims, evaluations, and conclusions presented in their manuscripts. Published works do not reflect the official views of the journal, the editors, or the editorial board.
For accepted manuscripts, the Copyright Transfer Form / Copyright and Licence Declaration Form must be signed by the corresponding author and submitted to the journal editorship. Accepted manuscripts will not proceed to publication unless the required forms are completed.
Manuscript Evaluation Schedule
The manuscript evaluation process at NİİBFD begins when the submission is made through the DergiPark system. In order to ensure an efficient and transparent process, the following evaluation schedule is followed. The periods indicated below are target periods and may vary depending on reviewer responses, the scope of revisions, the evaluation of the field editor, and the journal’s publication workload

NİİBFD aims to provide the first editorial decision within 45–60 days whenever possible. The overall evaluation and publication process, including peer review, revision, and publication preparation, is generally intended to be completed within 8–12 weeks. However, due to the nature of the peer review process, these periods may vary depending on the subject of the manuscript, the scope of revisions, and reviewer responses.

Manuscript submissions are accepted throughout the year. Accepted manuscripts are assigned to the appropriate issue in accordance with editorial planning, issue capacity, and the publication schedule. Acceptance of a manuscript does not necessarily mean that it will be published in the nearest issue; the publication order is determined by the journal editorship.
