Abstract

In our age where technological advances continue to slow down, all processes that concern our lives are in constant change and transformation. The determinant of this age, where many definitions such as digital age, information age, post-modern age are used and everyone agrees that a new era has begun, is undoubtedly the developments in the field of technology. With the inclusion of digital technologies, which are included in every aspect of our lives, in the labor market, the existence of labor, which has been the subject of many exploitations in history, has taken its current form as digital labor in the new economy. The fact that almost all processes related to business organization have changed due to digital technologies has led to the emergence of new business models. Within the scope of the Covid-19 Pandemic, countries quickly transitioned to remote digital work in order to reduce the transmission rate of the epidemic, thus 2020 became the year of the largest mass remote work in history. The transition to this working model, which is perceived as efficient by global companies, has been made permanent in many countries when the course of the epidemic eased. This study deals with the impact of digitalization on labor markets in our age when almost everything is digital, the digitalization of labor and remote working practices in Turkey and the world as a new business model
