İletişim perspektifinden “nesnelerin interneti”

Year 2020, Issue: 5, 89 - 101, 30.12.2020

Abstract

“Internet of things” from the communication perspective

Year 2020, Issue: 5, 89 - 101, 30.12.2020

Abstract

Although the concept of the internet of things is a concept we have heard frequently lately, its first use dates back to the 1990s. These technologies have been used in many areas and have rapidly progressed to become a part of our lives. These technologies, which are used in many areas such as smart transportation systems, smart homes and buildings, marketing, make their weight even more felt. The basic principle of Internet of Things technology can be based on the processes of obtaining data, sharing data and analyzing data. In order for all these to happen, they must be in interaction and communication with each other. In this way, it can be said that smart devices, smart devices, smart objects surround our environment and they are in a race to capture data with each other. This area, which is expected to show a wide spread, has brought some privacy and security problems with it. Although it is known that Internet of Things technology is open areas, it is thought that firewalls should be structured firmly because it is an area open to attacks by its nature. It is important to determine the open areas of the Internet of Things and to clearly demonstrate the measures for this.
