Ara?tyrmada bir tatly su baly?y olan Cyprinus carpio'da kromun 0.5, 1.0 ve 2.0 ppm'lik ortam deri?imlerinin 7, 15 ve 30 gün sürelerle hematokrit düzeyi ve eritrosit sayysy üzerine etkilerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmy?tyr. Hematokrit düzeyi ile eritrosit sayysynyn belirlenmesinde syrasyyla mikrohematokrit ve hemositometrik yöntemler kullanylmy?tyr. Kromun belirlenen süre ve deri?imlerdeki etkisi balyklarda mortaliteye neden olmazken, 15. günde hematokrit düzeyi ile eritrosit sayysyny deri?ime ba?ly olarak arttyrmy?, 0.5 ppm dy?ynda belirli bir deri?imde etkide kalma süresindeki arty? ise 7. güne oranla hematokrit düzeyi ile eritrosit sayysyny azaltmy?tyr.
Changes in hematocrit levels and erythrocyte numbers of Cyprinus carpio were determined after exposing the animals to 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 ppm chromium over 7, 15 and 30 days. Microhematocrit and hemocytometric methods were used for determining hematocrit levels and erythrocyte numbers respectively. No mortality was observed during the experiments. Hematocrit levels and erythrocyt numbers increased under the effect of metal on day 15. Hematocrit levels and erythtrocyte numbers decreased by increasing exposure periods except at 0.5 ppm chromium.
