ANALYSIS OF PRODUCTIVITY VALUES DUE TO SEASONS

Abstract

Productivity in construction projects, is defined as unit work done at unit time. In order to make scheduling which is used for determining the total project time of constructions, time of each activity in that project must be assigned at the design phase. Determining activity times depens on productivity values. Construction sector is kind of labour intensive sector and a lot of activities at production is still based on manpower, so productivity values can vary from season to season. In this article, investigation of variability of productivity due to different seasons is aimed. To do so, relationship between climate conditions and productivity values which are obtained from construction projects of the Turkish firm which has well-established place at building sector in Turkey, was investigated by regression analysis.

VERİMLİLİKLERİN MEVSİME GÖRE DEĞİŞİMİNİN ANALİZİ

Abstract

İnşaat projelerinde verimlilik, birim zamanda yapılan birim imalat olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Projelerin toplam süresinin belirlenmesinde uygulanan süresel planlama için projede yer alan bütün faaliyet sürelerinin belirlenmesi gerekmektedir. Faaliyet süreleri ise eldeki verimlilik değerlerine bağlıdır. İnşaat sektörünün emek yoğun bir sektör olmasından ve birçok faaliyetin hala insan gücüne dayalı olmasından dolayı verimlilik değerleri mevsimlere göre değişiklik gösterebilmektedir. Bu çalışmada verimliliklerin mevsim değerlerine göre değişiminin incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Bu nedenle Türkiye`de inşaat sektöründe oldukça büyük bir paya sahip olan konut sektöründe yer alan köklü bir inşaat firmasının projelerindeki verimlilik değerleri ile mevsimsel değerler arasındaki ilişki regresyon analizi yöntemiyle bulunmaya çalışılmıştır.
