Abstract

Soyut bir tabiatı anlatmaktan ziyade, gördüğü baharı, yazı, kışı, yaşadığı tabiatı kelimelerle resmetmesini bilen Bâkî, sadece canlı tasvirleri çizmekle yetinmemiş, bunun yanında bu tabloları klâsik benzetme ve mazmûnlarla şiirine yansıtmıştır. Şiirine yansıttığı bu resimlerden, devrinin genel özelliklerini, ihtişamını, başka kültürlerle olan etkileşimini yansıtmaktan geri durmamıştır. Özellikle Osmanlı'nın ekonomik ve askerî gücünün varlığı çok belirgindir.

The First Parts of Baki's Qasidas and the Reflections of That Period

Abstract

Baki, who knew to depict the spring, summer, and the winter which he saw, and the nature in which he lived, instead of describing an abstract nature, was not only satisfied with depicting the living objects, but also he was satisfied with reflecting these striking descriptions in his poetry by using classical figures of speech. He did not refrain from reflecting general characteristics, magnificence, and the interaction with the other cultures of his period with these descriptions which he used in his poetry. In particular, the economic and the military power of Ottoman Empire is so clear in his poetry.
