Abstract
Tourism is the most important income source and employment area for many countries in the world. Especially for economies of developing countries such as Turkey, it is very important. In Turkey especially Mediterranean Sea, Aegean Sea, Marmara Sea and Inner Anatolia Regions get much profit from tourism but Black Sea, Eastern and Southeast Anatolia regions don't get profit from tourism as much as those regions. In that study it is focused on the tourism attractiveness's, transportation facilities and accommodation possibilities of Diyarbakir which takes place in the Southeast Anatolia Region. In conclusion part, it is listed the problems of tourism and the suggestions to solve these problems.
Abstract
Turizm, dünyadaki birçok ülke için önemli bir gelir kaynağı ve istihdam alanıdır. Özellikle Türkiye gibi gelişmekte olan ülkelerin ekonomileri için çok daha önemlidir. Türkiye'de özellikle Akdeniz, Ege, Marmara ve İç Anadolu bölgeleri turizmden fazla pay alırken; Karadeniz, Doğu ve Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgeleri daha az pay almaktadır. Bu çalışmada turizmden çok az pay alan Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi'nde yer alan Diyarbakır'daki turizm çekicilikleri, erişim imkânları ve konaklama özellikleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Sonuç kısmında ise turizmin mevcut durumundan yola çıkılarak turizmin sorunları ve çözüm önerileri sıralanmıştır.
