THE EVALUATION OF JOB SATISFACTION LEVELS AND ORGANIZATIONAL JUSTICE PERCEPTIONS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHERS

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was conducted to determine how some socio-demographic variables differentiate the effect of perception of internal organizational justice of physical education teachers on the job satisfaction. For this purpose, survey method was selected and job satisfaction and organizational justice scales were applied to total of 106 physical education teachers working in the Kahramanmaras Ministry of Education Division. The data obtained from surveys were analyzed using SPSS Statistical Program applying T-test and one-way ANOVA. According to statistical analyses, there are no significant differences for marital status and working place variables. The justice perceptions of female teachers were lower than males. The lacks of sport facilities of physical education teachers in the job satisfaction were determined as an important problem. In addition, organizational justice perceptions were effected physical education teachers' job satisfaction.

ÖZET Bu çaly?ma beden e?itimi ö?retmenlerinin kurum içi algyladyklary örgütsel adaletin i? doyumlaryna olan etkisinin bazy sosyo demografik de?i?kenlere göre farklyla?yp farklyla?mady?yny tespit etmek amacy ile yapylmy?tyr. Bu amaçla, ara?tyrma için anket yöntemi seçilmi? ve Kahramanmara? da milli e?itim bakanly?yna ba?ly okullarda görev yapan toplam 106 beden e?itimi ö?retmenine i? doyum ve örgütsel adalet ölçekleri uygulanmy?tyr. Anketlerden elde edilen veriler spss paket program yardymyyla, örnekleme ait frekans ve yüzdelik hesaplamalar yapylarak, ba?ymsyz t-test ve tek yönlü varyans analizi (Anova) kullanylarak de?erlendirilmi?tir. Ara?tyrma sonucunda medeni durum ve görev yeri de?i?kenlerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamly fark gözlemlenmezken, bayan ö?retmenlerin i?lemsel adalet algylamalary erkeklerden daha dü?ük bulunmu?tur. Spor tesisi yetersizlikleri beden e?itimi ö?retmenlerinin i? doyumlarynda oldukça önemli bir sorun olarak tespit edilmi?tir. Ayryca örgütsel adalet algylamalarynyn ki?inin i? doyumuna etki eden faktörler arasynda oldu?u görülmü?tür.
