CONCEPT OF WORSHIP IN NÂBÎ DÎVÂNI

Abstract

Worship is a man's carrying out responsibilities toward the Allah and showing appropriate behaviours that suitable for Allah's acceptance.In Classical Turkish Literature,worship concepts worked by many poets reserves an important place in Nabi Divan, too. Nabi, the one of important poets of 17th Century Classical Ottoman Poetry (Dîvân Edebiyatı) mentions benefits of worship on both person and society life.According to poet,however worship provide benefit for the man,it is not the only means for man's reaching happiness in the hereafter.For man's achieving the happiness in the hereafter ,the man have to gain the Allah's acceptance.But it not possible to gain the Allah's acceptance without worship,too.
