The Journal of Social Sciences Research of Ordu University (ODÜSOBİAD) is an international, peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes four issues annually (March, June, September, and December), carefully evaluating original, high-quality studies grounded in scientific standards and research ethics.
The journal's primary mission is to produce top-level academic knowledge and disseminate it to all researchers, students, and scientists through an open access model. All published articles are freely accessible under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, with no membership or subscription required. Submission and publication are entirely free of charge; no article processing fees (APC) are applied.
ODÜSOBİAD covers a broad spectrum of social sciences, including Educational Sciences, Sociology, Psychology, Economics and Business Administration, Political Science and International Relations, Law and Public Administration, Language and Linguistics, History and Geography, Communication and Media Studies, Social Work, and interdisciplinary research. The journal equally welcomes qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods studies, and accepts original research articles, reviews, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, case studies, and book reviews.
ODÜSOBİAD follows a bilingual publication policy. Submitted manuscripts must be prepared as full texts in both Turkish and English. Manuscripts written exclusively in English are accepted; however, Turkish-only submissions are not.
All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. Studies passing editorial pre-screening are forwarded to at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise. The target average review completion time is 45 days.
All published articles are permanently archived in DergiPark and indexed in major national and international databases, including TR Dizin, EBSCO, and H.W. Wilson.
