EFFECTS OF “TAKING NOTES WITH CONCEPT MAPS” ON THE LISTENING SKILLS OF PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract

Listening has an important situation in understanding skills because of its frequency of usage. For this reason some methods created for the developnig of listening skill. One of these methods is “taking notes with concept maps”. Purpose of this study is to analyse the effects of taking note with concept maps on students’ listening skills. For this purpose “pre-test and post-test with control group” experimental reserach method used in this study. Research’s sample has comprised 49 students in 7th class. Concept maps used in experimental group and traditional method used in control group. It has been found that “taking notes with concept maps” is more effective than traditional method on listening skill
