In this research, the listening ability of the 6th grade primary students has been intended to improve with the use of a listening education program consisting of active learning techniques. The main aim of this research is to display that listening is improbable language ability and the listening ability off the students can be improved by active learning techniques and also to show the effects of this technique on the students’ attitudes towards Turkish lesson
