Formal Aesthetic Anxiety and Semantic Multidimensionality in Cemal Süreya's "Üvercinka"

Abstract

In the study, Cemal Süreya's "Üvercinka" poetry will be evaluated in the context of aesthetic anxiety and semantic multidimensionality. The poet who understands the importance of form and writes poetry in this direction, proves that he is a multi-dimensional poet, not depriving his art from social and political problems. The poetry studied in this sense can be seen asone of the prototypes of his poetryThe arrangement of the strings, the words are dismissed as a jigsaw, the repetition of words and voices are the elements of poetry rhythm. The social and political dimension in the sub-text of poetry, which seems to be telling only a material love, shows its semantic multidimensionality. The poet, who argues that man is not a monotheistic creature and that he should take part in poetry in all its aspects, creates multi-dimensional poetry by giving more emotion, subject and understanding at the same time in "Üvercinka". In this study within the scope of the eclectic method, as biographical criticism and collective criticism are used to reveal the link between poetry and social phenomena in content review,new criticism has been exploited in form review.

Cemal Süreya’nın “Üvercinka” Şiirinde Biçimsel Estetik Kaygı Ve Anlamsal Çok Boyutluluk

Abstract

Çalışmada Cemal Süreya’nın “Üvercinka”
şiirinde estetik kaygı ve anlamsal çok boyutluluk üzerinde durulacaktır.
Biçimin önemini kavrayan ve bu doğrultuda şiirler yazan Süreya, sanatını
toplumsal ve politik sorunlardan mahrum bırakmayarak çok boyutlu bir şair
olduğunu kanıtlar. Bu anlamda incelenen şiiri, Süreya’nın şairliğinin
prototiplerinden kabul etmek mümkündür. Dizelerin kurgulanışı, kelimelerin bir
yapboz misali sökülüp yapılışı, kelime ve ses tekrarları şiirin ritmini
sağlayan ögelerdir. Görünürde sadece maddi bir aşk anlatıyormuş hissi veren
şiirin alt metninde yer alan toplumsal ve politik boyut, şairin bireyselliğini
toplumcu yönüyle buluşturur. İnsanın tekdüze bir canlı olmadığını ve onun tüm
yönleriyle şiirde yer alması gerektiğini savunan şair, “Üvercinka”da aynı anda
birden çok duygu, konu ve anlama yer vererek şiirin çok boyutlu olmasını
sağlar. Çalışmanın metodu olarak eklektik yöntem kapsamında içerik
incelemesinde sanatçının bireysel özelliklerinden yola çıkılarak sanatçıya
dönük eleştiri (biyografik eleştiri) kullanılmıştır. Şiirin toplumsal olay ya
da olgularla bağlantısının ortaya konulabilmesi için topluma dönük eleştiriden
yararlanılırken şiirin biçim incelemesinde esere dönük eleştiri tercih
edilmiştir.
