Orman ağaçlarında görülen büyüme anormalileri ve faydalanma imkânları: (Bursa Orman Bölge Müdürlüğü örneği)

Abstract

Odun üretimi ve ormanların bakımı, sürdürülebilirlik ve silvikültürel ihtiyaçlar dikkate alınarak, yapılmaktadır. Kaliteli tomruk üretimi için ise idare süresi sonuna kadar bu amaca yönelik müdahaleler yapılmaktadır. Bu amaç dışında kalan anormal oluşumlar ve büyüme şekilleri bakımlar esnasında elimine edilmekte ve doğal şekilleriyle sanayiye ulaşamamaktadır. Oysa mobilya sanayisinde ekonomik değeri oldukça yüksek birçok mobilya ve dekoratif eşya, anormal büyümeler gösteren ağaçlardan elde edilebilmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, ormanlarımızdaki bazı ağaç türlerinde meydana gelen anormal oluşumları belirlemek, bu tür ağaç malzeme işleyen sektörü inceleyerek ekonomiye sağlayacağı katkıyı ortaya koymak ve farkındalık oluşturmaktır. Bu amaçla Bursa ve İnegöl Orman İşletme Müdürlükleri ve Uludağ Milli Parkında yapılan çalışmada büyüme anormalileri gösteren ağaçlar türler bazında örneklenmiştir. Bursa ve İnegöl Orman İşletme Müdürlüklerinde (OİM) satışa sunulan emval türleri incelenmiştir. Ayrıca bu tür masif ağaç işleyen işletmelerle yapılan anket çalışmaları ile sektörün durumu değerlendirilmiştir. Masif ağacın işlenmesi sonucu meydana gelen tasarım ürünler araştırılarak maliyet ve satış ortalamaları mukayese edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda büyüme anormalilerinin ağaç türlerine göre farklılaştığı ve en fazla anormalliğin çınarda, en az karaçamda olduğu görülmüştür. Bu oluşumların sektörce değerlendirildiğinde katma değeri çok yüksek ürünlere dönüştürülebileceği belirlenmiştir.

Growth anomalies and utilization opportunities in forest trees: (Pattern of Bursa Regional Directorate of Forestry)

Abstract

Wood production and maintenance of forests are carried out taking into account sustainability and silvicultural needs. For the production of quality logs, forest maintenances are made for this purpose until the end of the rotation period. Abnormal formations and growth patterns outside this purpose are eliminated during maintenance and cannot reach the industry in their natural forms. However, many furniture and decorative items with high economic value in the furniture industry can be obtained from trees that show abnormal growth. The aim of this study is to determine the abnormal formations in some tree species in our forests, to examine the sector that processes such wood materials, to reveal the contribution it will provide to the economy and to raise awareness. For this purpose, trees showing growth abnormalities were sampled on the basis of species in the study conducted in Bursa and İnegöl Forestry Management Directorates and Uludağ National Park. Wood types and their properties offered for sale in Bursa and İnegöl Forestry Directorates (OİM) were examined. Moreover, the situation of the sector was evaluated with the survey studies conducted with such massive woodworking enterprises. The design products produced as a result of the processing of solid wood were investigated and the cost and sales averages were compared. As a result of the study, it was observed that the growth anomalies differed according to the tree species and the highest abnormality was observed in plane trees (Platanus orientalis L.) and least in black pine (Pinus nigra Arnold.). It has been determined that these formations can be transformed into products with very high added value when evaluated by the sector.
