TANE MORFOLOJİSİNİN KABARCIK-TANE YAPIŞMA SÜRESİNE VE FLOTASYON VERİMİNE OLAN ETKİSİ

Abstract

Tanelerin ıslanabilirlik özelliklerindeki farklarından faydalanan bir zenginleştirme yöntemi olan “flotasyon” prosesinde, verimin arttırılması için ortam özelliklerinin yanı sıra, tanelerin fiziksel özelliklerinin de değerlendirilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu kapsamda tane morfolojisinin analiz edilmesi, kabarcık-tane işlemleri kadar, tane-tane etkileşimlerinin de ortaya konulması açısından oldukça önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada, farklı morfolojik özelliklere sahip cam küresi tanelerinin flotasyon karakteristiklerinin yanı sıra kabarcık-tane sürelerindeki değişimlerde incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak artan pürüzlülük ve azalan yuvarlaklık değerlerinde daha düşük kabarcık-tane yapışma süreleriyle beraber, daha yüksek flotasyon verimleri elde edilmiştir. Bu sonuçlar tane üretim yöntemlerinin kontrolü ile verimlerin arttırılabileceğine dair ışık tutmaktadır.
