The purpose of this study is to present how the Bozüyük Yediler residential area landslide was investigated using the computer program Slope/W. The main lithologies of the project area are loose arenaceous and argillaceaus containing silt. The ground surface of the area features sudden rises. A detailed geological and geotechnical study was carried out in the area, with the strength parameters and geotechnical properties of the landslide area being obtained using laboratory methods. The safety factor of the slope was calculated using the Slope/W program. A circular failure analogy was used for the slope stability analyses. A back analysis on a failed slope was also performed. The results of the back analysis compared well with the results obtained using laboratory methods. As a conclusion, a retaining wall and drainage system were proposed to rectify the slope instability.
