Journal of Engineering and Architecture Faculty of Eskişehir Osmangazi University (e-ISSN : 2630-5712) is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open access and scientific journal to present recent improvements in science and engineering.

The journal accepts papers in the fields of Computer, Electrical-Electronics, Industrial, Civil, Geology, Chemical, Mining,  Mechanical and Metallurgical and Materials engineering

ABOUT JOURNAL

The Journal (ISSN: 1301-045x) was launched in 1986. It was published as 2 issues per year until the end of 2012. It has resumed its publication life as an online journal (e-ISSN : 2630-5712) in 2018.

All articles published since 1996 are available on the web page of DergiPark^® system (https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/ogummf/archive )

CURRENT PUBLICATION SCHEDULE

The Journal publishes 3 issues (April, August and December) per year. In addition to the regular issues, proceedings of the conferences which are organized by the departments of faculty are published as “Special Issue” depending upon the decision of the Production Editors.

MANUSCRIPT EVALUATION PROCESS

The manuscript, along with all the files, is uploaded to DergiPark^® online system with by using the link of “Submit Article”.

Manuscripts may be prepared either in Turkish or in English.

Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the template provided on the journal web page (https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/ogummf/writing-rules ).

If the manuscript meets all the format requirements, it is then sent to the Area  Editor. The Area Editor evaluates the scientific quality of the manuscript. If the manuscript is judged suitable for publication, it is then sent to three independent reviewers, whom are either proposed by the author or selected from the reviewer pool.

Each reviewer evaluates the manuscript and submits the evaluation form for reviewers including various comments. Based on the reviewer comments and the area editor's suggestion, the Editor makes one of the following decisions on the manuscript: accept, request for revision or reject.

OPEN ACCESS POLICY

The Journal is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available at no charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

The journal follows the GUIDELINES presented by Budapest Open - Access Initiative (BOAI) regarding the Open-Access.

PUBLICATION FEES

All accepted articles are published without any submission, evaluation or publication fees .

ORIGINALITY CHECK

The copyright of the manuscripts submitted for publication are screened for unoriginal material using IThenticate^® software. In accordance with the similarity report generated by the software, if the total similarity ratio (except for tables, figures, references)  is over 25%, the Editor requests at revision and re-submission of the paper from the corresponding author.
